Soap making is both an art and a science. Choosing the right ingredients (you can jump right to ingredient list here) can make a significant difference in the quality of the final product. Among the many options available, tallow and natural butters like shea, mango and cocoa stand out for their unique properties. Understanding their benefits helps soap makers create bars that are both nourishing and effective.
Triple Butter Bars (Coconut Free) at Organics We Love.

Why we chose our famous Triple Butter Coconut Free creamy formula over Tallow- the trendy popular formula!
We absolutely fell in love with three natural butters, shea butter, mango butter and cocoa butter. Each bring a different set of benefits to our soap similar to tallow but the butters add subtle, natural scents (I mean c'mon, beef or cocoa? lol) and silky creaminess to soap that tallow in our recipe did not! Reason #1.
Reason #2. I have zero cows. Render your own tallow? I. do. not. EW. That seems like a whole lotta work - bless you who can master this art! I have no access to any nearby reputable ranchers to buy it either.
Reason #3 and probably most importantly, the inability for full transparency. How could I be sure that my store bought tallow, was without preservatives added or where it actually came from. Simple as that!
What Makes Our Triple Butter Bars such a Great Soap!
Check out all ingredients used in our bars:
Natural Fragrance and Color
We use natural clay, botanical, organic powders and essential oils.
Longevity
This is where Palm oil is added to our triple butter base! RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil is prized for producing a hard, long-lasting and moisturizing bars with a creamy lather. Curing the bar 4-6 weeks help dry out the new soap
Sensitive Conditioning (our low-cleansing gem)
Olive oil is our main pour in our recipe due to its oleic acid properties. We can yield a high conditioning soap making it gentle and suitable for sensitive or dry skin types.
Bubbles
Coconut Oil is NOT USED in our soaps as the bubble maker. WE PREFER Palm Kernel Oil. The bubbles are magnificent with the butter combo, and awesomely brings all the other oils together in a way we cant explain! The only thing we can surmise, is the fact that it is more solid at room temperature, providing excellent structure to our soap! And of course, every bar should include castor oil, the viscous "bubble booster" in soap making.
Nutrient-Rich
Other oils we add are avocado, grapeseed and sunflower. Avocado brings vitamins A, B, D, and E to the bar while sunflower oil and grapeseed oil bring a lightweight conditioning feel.
