WHY PALM KERNEL OIL INSTEAD OF COCONUT OIL? Are there more allergies to coconut than we know about?
Most soap makers use olive oil and coconut oil as a main base in their recipes. Olive for its gentleness, and coconut oil as it is reasonably priced and high in lauric acid. High lauric acid is what is crucial for attaining a hard soap loaded with bubbly lather. But, too much lauric acid and not superfatted accordingly, a soap can be OVER drying and become itchy!
IS IT AN ALLERGY OR AN IMPROPERLY FORMULATED SOAP?
A pure olive oil soap is an amazingly beneficial soap to use on your skin. However, it feels slimy and has virtually zero lather. Adding Palm kernel oil, can create amazing bubbles as well if used with ingredients that will enhance the bubbles without using too much lauric acid. PKO is a slightly lighter oil, marginally softer, and used in our formula at less than 20%. SO, no more coconut oil, still a bubbly bar, and most importantly - NO MORE ITCHY SKIN!

We add purees that incorporate sugar as a lather booster, which also add vitamins and antioxidants, along with luxurious oils and triple butters for creaminess, creating the perfect Gentle Product Line. We superfat, both lines accordingly, and have found the perfect compilation of ingredients for a coconut free soap that has amazing bubbles, feels pillowy soft, and leaves your skin feeling buttery and lotiony after every use!

The Triple Butter Breakdown
Shea Butter: Delivers intense moisture. It contains high amounts of unsaponifiables (fats that don't turn into soap), leaving raw nourishment directly on the skin.
Mango Butter: Absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. It is packed with antioxidants and vitamins that help soften and restore skin elasticity.
Cocoa Butter: Creates a firm, durable bar. It forms a protective barrier on the skin to lock in moisture and gives the soap a rich, velvety lather.
The Hardness & Lather Builders
Palm Oil: Creates a hard, long-lasting bar of soap. It ensures the soap does not dissolve quickly in the shower.
